In addition to funding research grants, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs, the foundation supports education, screening and treatment projects.

A 24-hour hotline is staffed by trained breast cancer survivors. Provides education about gynecologic cancers and the central role of gynecologic oncologists in these activities.

Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer800-377-0928Provides current information for oral and head and neck cancer patients who are trying to gain a better understanding of their illness. Services include one-to-one support, patient information packets, awareness ribbons and pins, a cookbook and newsletter.
Kidney Cancer Association800-850-9132Funds, promotes and collaborates on kidney cancer research projects, educates physicians and patients about kidney cancer, and advocates at the federal and state level on behalf of patient interests.
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society800-955-4572Financial assistance for specific approved drugs related to the treatment/control of leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. Processing, typing, screening and cross-matching of blood components for transfusions; infusion of marrow, cord blood or stem cell, transportation to and from a doctor’s office, hospital, treatment center or Family Support Group, initial induction x-ray therapy, x-ray therapy or other procedures according to the specific approval of the national Patient Services Committee. Reimbursement requests, up to a maximum of $500 per year, are processed through local chapters.
Lung Cancer Alliance800-298-2436Advocates on behalf of lung cancer patients, survivors, families, caregivers and those at risk. Programs include the Lung Cancer Hotline, a toll-free information and referral service for people with lung cancer and their caregivers, a peer-to-peer support network, and newsletter.
Lymphoma Research Foundation800-500-9976Healthcare Provider Grant ProgramLRF offers a limited financial assistance program to help uninsured and underinsured with unpaid medical bills.Applicants must: 1. Complete an application and demonstrate a financial need. 2. Be a first time applicant to this program. 3. Be currently undergoing lymphoma treatment as certified by their physician.
Uninsured or underinsured applicants should indicate on their application and discuss with the Coordinator if they have accumulated medical debt. Funds are available to reimburse healthcare providers for patients' hospital or physician bills that insurance will not reimburse. Amount is determined on a case by case basis and is usually a percentage of overall debt. Decisions are also affected by LRF's current level of funding for this grant program.
LRF's program does not cover co-pays for drugs, everyday living expenses, such as food, rent, or utility bills or treatment related costs, such as transportation, childcare or cosmetic aides. Go to financial assistance resources for additional assistance.
