Be a part of AOSW
Oncology social workers and other psychosocial oncology professionals provide direct services to people with cancer and their families in public and private health care institutions and agencies. Some are consultants to community service agencies or private industry. Administration, education and research are valued roles for others as is the provision of private cancer counseling services. AOSW works to unify and support psychosocial oncology practitioners as related to the common mission of improved psychosocial support services for patients and families facing cancer.
