Facilitator training for the American Cancer Society’s I Can Cope (ICC) program is offered in cooperation with the Association of Oncology Social Work. Comprised of psycho-educational classes for adult cancer patients and caregivers, ICC is designed to help increase cancer knowledge and improve coping skills. Classes are facilitated by degreed health professionals such as social workers.
This 2-part workshop provides training for new ICC facilitators. Pre-registration and attendance at both sessions is required. The registration deadline for the ICC Facilitator Training, Parts 1 & 2, is April 13, 2009. No late or onsite registrations will be accepted. Contact Greta Greer at greta.greer@cancer.org.
