AOSW Professional Recognition Awards
ONCOLOGY SOCIAL WORKERS ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE! HELPING PATIENTS, FAMILIES, COLLEAGUES AND COMMUNITIES
All Award submissions for 2013 are now closed.
We need your help to identify four very special oncology social workers to be recognized at the Annual Conference! AOSW presents four national awards every year, each sponsored by a National Organization. The three awards are the LLS-Hematology-Oncology Social Worker of the Year, Oncology Social Worker of the Year, and the Leadership in Oncology Social Work. The recipients receive a monetary award and a special plaque at the conference. Past Award and Scholarship Winners (PDF). To read about the 2012 recipients, click here.
It is my honor to review the nominations for these awards together with an esteemed committee of past award winners. Please take time to think about a colleague, a mentor or even yourself and nominate someone who meets the criteria presented in each category. All materials will be available this year for submitting applications online and only electronic submissions will be accepted!
