Processing, typing, screening and cross-matching of blood components for transfusions; infusion of marrow, cord blood or stem cell, transportation to and from a doctor’s office, hospital, treatment center or Family Support Group, initial induction x-ray therapy, x-ray therapy or other procedures according to the specific approval of the national Patient Services Committee. Reimbursement requests, up to a maximum of $500 per year, are processed through local chapters.

LRF’s Patient Aid Program provides grants of up to $500, to be used within six months, for quality of life expenses during treatment.  Patients can be reimbursed for child care, travel-related costs incurred while obtaining treatment, medical aids and devices, education and support meetings, and cosmetic aids and hygiene products not covered by insurance.  Patients who are U.S. citizens, currently receiving treatment for lymphoma, in financial need, may apply.
