About the Webinar
Currently, few cancer patients have expressed their wishes for care at end of life, offering an opportunity for oncology social workers to embrace a leadership role in Advance Care Planning (ACP) within their institutions. This webinar will address common concerns associated with ACP and provide a range of resources to aid social workers in having quality ACP conversations across settings and populations.
At the end of the presentation, the participant will be able to:
- Identify two benefits of having an Advance Care Planning (ACP) conversation
- Describe three necessary steps for a high-quality ACP conversation
- Discuss two barriers to engaging in an ACP conversation
- Identify three useful resources for ACP
